In
March 2014 I woke up in the middle of the night standing in my room.
Apart from the landing light which was on, the entire house was dark.
I felt a heavy presence around me reminiscent of sleep paralysis even
though I was fully awake. It felt extremely dark and was a little
frightening, yet it was different to what I had felt in a single case of sleep paralysis about five years previously. During that experience, my only symptoms were the inability to move and a feeling of being watched. Gradually over a few minutes the paralysis seemed to melt away. I can say with certainty that this recent experience was not the same.
Instantly
I felt the need to wake my mum up and so I hurried out onto the landing and
opened the door to her room. The moment I walked in I noticed a pale
grey coloured figure standing on the opposite side of her bed. It was like a silhouette, only white. I have since started to call him "The Watcher" because thats all he did, he watched. I
didn't seem bothered by the figure, focusing instead on waking up my mum. It was as though the being didn't register properly with me. Besides, I was more
concerned with the presence which had followed me into the room. I
called out to her several times quite loudly but neither her or my
sister in the other room woke up. I found this strange as my mum is an extremely light sleeper and really should have heard me.

| Rough plan of the events that occurred |
The
experience ended here and though it was short, it was extremely vivid. The very next thing I remember was waking up
in the morning. I could instantly recall the events that had taken
place, whether they had happened that night or at a different point in time. I
remember feeling physically rested but my mind did not. It felt as though it had been
active all night, almost as if it had been on pause and then
continued as normal upon waking. At first I thought that this experience was
just a vivid dream so I didn't bother telling anyone about it, I just carried on as normal.
This wasn't that last time I would have an experience like this. In fact, over the next week or so I would have two other experiences similar to this one. Each time they would get more intense and start to involve other people.
More to follow.
